「數位人文」將如何改變人們理解過去的方式，又將如何引領新的未來？
數位人文藉由數位資料、人文研究之學術關懷和資訊分析技術的連結而整合，其目標是要幫助研究者在面對鉅量資料或多元資料時，能夠以更寬廣的視角進行觀察，挖掘出前數位時代無從發現的多重脈絡與意義關聯，進而開展出新的研究議題和研究取徑，甚至更進一步地孕育出新型態的人文研究和數位研究（digital scholarship）。
